🚀 Digital Product

This article introduces how to quickly launch digital products.

Digital Product#

Digital products refer to virtual products that can be dealt automatically, such as account info, code, gift cards, membership cards, authorization/redemption codes, etc.

Data Item Type#

Digital products are divided into two types according to their usage scenarios:
After-sale deletion Data Item
Repeat Sale Data Item
☝️ The data item sold to each user are different. The data will be automatically deleted from the inventory after the user purchases it. The platform will remove duplicate and blank uploaded data items by default.

Inventory#

In actual operation, each product has a one-to-one correspondence with a data item. The two are equivalent. The data item is actually a piece of text without line breaks. The merchant needs to upload the data item by line first. Each data item corresponds to an inventory.

Stock#

The platform will automatically calculate stock based on the data items uploaded by the merchant, and the merchant cannot modify the value.
TIP: For products with after-sale deletion, a maximum of 500 data items can be uploaded at once. For repeat sale products, only one data item can be uploaded. Users can only purchase multiple items of the same product at once.

Publish Steps#

Create Project
Sign into beta-web.tikhub.io
Click Project on the left menu, and click Create Project
Select Digital Product as product type.

Fill in Basic Project Info
Enter the project to complete the relevant configurations.
You may only edit your Project Name and Project Description and upload your own project cover image
Click Save to take effect.

Create your product
Enter the Digital Product section,
Click + Add Product, it will automatically generated a product for you that apeear in the Product List.
Click Edit to modify the product.

Modify your product
Enter the product name (required)
Enter the external link for your custom product documentation (optional).
Select the Item Type (required)
After-sales Deletion: Once a customer purchases an item, it will be removed from the product inventory, reducing the stock by 1. (Examples. Accounts Seller)
Repeat-sale: an item that can be sold to multiple customers. (Examples. Link to Code pieces)
Enter your Price, you are only allow to enter a price with at most three decimal places. (Examples. 3.123) (required)
Enter your Description (required)
You will not be editing your Stock number, we will automatically calculate for you once you upload you Inventory.
Click Save

Modify your Inventory
Turn on the Modify Items Switcher. Below this switcher, you will see an empty text field where you can enter your items.
Each line represents one item. If you have multiple pieces of information within one item, enter them on the same line and separate them by spaces.
The Inventory Editor automatically removes empty lines.
You may only upload 500 items or lines at one time.
We will remove duplicated items for you.
Once you've uploaded your stock, click Save
Reminder: Your total stock number must be <= 3000

View your Inventory
Once you save your items, they will be displayed in a list below.
For items with extended text, click View All to see the full content.
Available items will be listed before sold items. To view sold items, Go to the last few pages.
Entering an invalid page number will redirect you to the first page, while entering a non-existent page number will take you to the last page.
Exercise caution when deleting inventory; there is no confirmation prompt for deletions.

Publish Your Product
After finalizing modifications to your product, You can use the View button on your project base information page to preview your product selling page before it goes live.
Click Publish to request an upload of your product to TikHub Mall.
Ensure that you publish your project before publishing your product.
Once you submit your product for publication, please allow 1-3 business days for us to review and approve your product.
Uploading or distributing content that involves sexual abuse, violence, discrimination, hazardous materials/code, any form of illegal activity, or other inappropriate material is strictly prohibited and will result in an immediate and permanent ban from using TikHub.

Purchase of the Product#

After your product has been approved
Once your product has been approved and goes live on TikHub Mall, you may share the product link with your customers. They can begin purchasing the product using their TikHub balance, which must be credited in advance (at add credit page).

Project shop page
All your products that are online will be displayed under the same project shop page.

Finally#

The configuration will take effect immediately after modification, so please operate with caution, especially do not easily modify configurations such as Status, etc., that will affect current users.
